The template originally provided on canvas is broken! You will need to fix it! Follow these steps to do so!

Project Naming Scheme

We will use the naming scheme:

P1_FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME_STUDENT-ID

For example, my name is Zach Barrett, and if my student ID was 12345678 I would call my project P1_ZACH_BARRETT_12345678, my schematic would be called P1_ZACH_BARRETT_12345678.SchDoc, and my PCB would be called P1_ZACH_BARRETT_12345678.PcbDoc.

Project One Setup

• Create project in Altium 365 using the naming scheme.
  • Make sure it is under your folder!
• Open it in Altium Designer.
• Import the PCB template file.
• Rename the PCB template file to use the naming scheme.
• Create a schematic file using the naming scheme.
• Install project library (2026S2.IntLib), find it under this path.
• Save to Server to upload an initial commit.

Project Submission

In order to submit project one, you need to do two things.

First, you must ensure your project is properly saved to server. Ensure that when you open Altium 365 and navigate to your project, both the schematic and PCB are present (and correct).

Secondly, you must create a “Smart PDF”, and upload it to canvas. Ensure you create it with the correct settings. Ensure you save it with the correct file name (follow the naming scheme!)
